I usually don't write reviews of any kind. But I must say I am disappointed with Dr. Ramirez. I called to make an appointment because my wife has had severe pain in her left eye for a couple of days. I called at 11am and the receptionist told me that she would call me back to try to squeeze her in for the same day or schedule her possibly for the next day. I never got a call back until I called them back at 5pm. The receptionist then told me that the doctor will call me within 10 minutes & that she apologizes. Guess what? She never called. That completely tells me about this doctor and office. If you don't care for your patients, why stay in business? On to the next eye doctor.

I'm not one to write negative reviews but I've had multiple poor experiences at this office. The first time, I ended up waiting one hour for an appointment with no apology from Dr. Ramirez despite my being ten minutes early for my appointment. The second time, I politely asked for a pupillary distance measurement to obtain my glasses elsewhere as not everyone can afford 100 on a pair of glasses and Dr. Ramirez was incredibly rude to me about it. In addition, the appointments feel very rushed and if you ask about different options for prescriptions, she tends to be very rushed to get you out the door as soon as possible.

The Doctor is good, staff is also friendly however, this is the second time that it took more than 2 months to get second pair of glasses for my wife. If things are going to be late why is the patient not informed ? Also when we were told that someone will contact, the calls are never returned. The staff turns on the lunch break message on the phone whenever they feel like hence there is no way you can reach the office staff.

Very clean and fast costumer service. Staff is friendly. I hope they've updated their sign up sheets to a clearer and readable font. That's my only complaint. I found it amusing rather than an annoyance. They're really good and I wished I knew about them long ago. Highly recommended.

My entire family has been going to optical techniques for years. With both old and new owners. It’s a great place for all eye related needs. The staff is extremely courteous and friendly and are always willing to help. The optometrist is friendly and will go out of her way in order to make you as most comfortable as possible. If you are coming for a yearly eye exam, contact fitting or another problem Optical Techniques has you covered. You can not go wrong coming here. You truly are in the best hands.
