They did the work, it turned out nice. That's about all I can say about them now after the job is done. John Goodby is the guy who I worked with. I went with them because he had the best idea of how to brace up my porch roof while pouring the concrete. After that, it was downhill. Bottom line... He never finished the job, I still have piles of dirt and rock on my property he said he'd remove and take away, AND he never came back to finish the seal work on the concrete! Never has returned my phone calls... just blown me off. The job started out to pour about 630 sq ft of concrete, broom finish, no color. Quoted price 3.6k. With any project I had change orders. I wanted color and stamped, plus an additional 100 sq. While other contractors said stamped wasn't going to be any more than broom, John charged 1,000 extra for stamped. Now with all of this he came out and took measurements before the job. Now when the forms were put in, he did a remeasurement and then recharged me. He didn't even have the measurements from last time he came out. Again I felt I was treated as a second class customer. At one point about the payment arrangements he brought up if I didn't pay he could take out a 'lien' on my home as a contractor. Really, a threat. He would tell me he'd be out on day X... that day would come and go and I was the one to call him to say, hey what's the deal? Hasn't returned any of my calls, and I have a pile of dirt he should've removed and sealed concrete which I have to do my self.
