We used these screws on an island cottage property as an alternative to traditional concrete and Sonotube footings. The simple design saved us a great deal of time and effort as we built a boardwalk of recycled dock boards. The screws are relatively easy to install and provided a solid footing at a depth below the frost line. We will use this product again in the future.
