What a great decision it was eight and one half years ago to move to Orchard Cove Independent living. It has exceeded my expectations in many ways. The grounds are beautiful and set in a location overlooking a pond that is a welcoming vista for outdoor walking or sitting. The indoor facilities, including a fitness center and pool are inviting and help to keep us healthy. The 4 dining venues are attractive and serve well-prepared and delicious food. Afternoon and evening activities are varied and most enjoyable. The staff is competent, friendly and caters to all our needs.

I have lived at Orchard Cove for nearly a year and have been very happy with my decision to move here. The surroundings are beautiful, my apartment is comfortable, our classes and activities are stimulating with challenging learning opportunities, and above all the friendly atmosphere is genuine and welcoming. I was fortunate to experience life here for six months before the pandemic shutdown began, so I know how full the experience can be, but I am amazed and pleased by the care and planning shown by our staff for our comfort and communication during this necessary period. Equal thought is being shown by the careful and caring progress of opening up that we are experiencing at present.

I've lived here for 5 years and have been very pleased - my third floor apartment on the cove side has large windows which make me feel like I'm living in a peaceful tree house in the summer and in a beautiful snow globe in the winter. I am a walker and the grounds are perfect for my daily walks with my dog. The programs here are varied and provide the intellectual stimulation as well as a strong fitness program - both are very important to me. The food is also very good and culinary staff as well as all staff here are very accommodating and friendly. One can have a full, satisfying life here, I find it a wonderful \home base\ as I still have a very active life \outside\ of OC. It is a wonderful place to live, Nancy Connery

I have lived in a comfortable, pleasant one-bedroom apartment with a screened porch in the Independent Living section of Orchard Cove for four years. I like that, living here, I can have both as much privacy and as much companionship as I want. I like the largely wooded area on which I can take my daily walks. I like that the community is well-run and well-kept and that residents here are welcoming and friendly.
