David's team did an amazing job on our wedding day. David was very up front and easy to deal with on the run up to the wedding - we visited the cafe to meet him a couple of months before and had a quick lunch there. On the day the hog roast team arrived nice and early and made friends with the events team! Guests arrived from 4pm and the hog roast was served from about 5pm - we couldn't count how many compliments were made about the tasty hog meat and particularly the crackling! It was juicy, tasty and there was more than enough to feed our 94 guests plus the workers. The meat was served buffet style with apple sauce, stuffing, potato salad, coleslaw plus a green salad and condiments - we opted for hiring our own crockery but David can provide this at extra cost and/or paper plates. All in all it went very well and we would highly recommend using this company to provide a hog roast for a wedding or large party - delicious!!

Well done, David, you took all the worry away so we could spend our time with family and friends on our Golden Wedding and not worry about the catering. The spit roast looked and smelt very inviting. The meat was very moist and tender and the crackling was delicious, but naughty! The salads were lovely and fresh and plenty to go round. Several people went up for seconds and there was still plenty for us to enjoy the next day. I would thoroughly recommend David's Company. Jackie and Bev 27/9/15

Many thanks to David and his team for sorting out a delicious feast for our special occasion. I originally chose SBC Catering because of all the enquiries I made, David was the only one who wrote a thoughtful & tailored reply email answering all of my questions. That personal touch carried on throughout our dealings with him. He was reliable in every way and throughout all our communication, which was enormously reassuring. His colleague, Kevin, who set up and served us on the day was a delight - cheery, helpful, self-sufficient. Many guests commented on how lovely he was (and that was before the alcohol set in). We would without a doubt use SBC again.

we had a hog roast with all the trimmings on 03.01.2014 from this company , we have rated our experience 5 star .fantastic quality and value for money , everyone at event said it was delicious, most went up for seconds or thirds it was that tasty the homemade apple sauce and herby hot potatoes also added a lovely touch , rolls were very fresh and the hog was perfect. very proffessional service our ever need catered for could not have asked for a better company would highly recomend for any events
