Dr. Nold is a wonderful Urologist, but his staff is horrible - specifically Amanda. My daughter has been a patient of his since birth for hydronephrosis. They staff has given me FALSE MEDICAL ADVICE claiming they spoke to the doctor, said to keep my daughter on her same antibiotic following a breakthough infection, then at her next appointment, Dr. Nold know NOTHING about the infection nor the advice to keep her on the same antibiotic. Now, my daughter is scheduled for surgery. I to try to get a date, she tells me it's already been scheduled, you didn't know (she never called). Then she says they have to wait to confirm the date as the doctor is having another doctor assist him in the surgery so they are awaiting his schedule confirmation - this was a Friday, said she'd call to confirm the following Monday. I wait an entire WEEK without a return call. I call the next week, and she's like - no, he doesn't need another doctor this is just a routine procedure that she's having - he doesn't need an assistant. (The procedure that she mentioned is what my daughter had a YEAR ago and is NOT the procedure that she is currently scheduled for). I told her YOU are the one that told me he needed an assistant doctor in the surgery and YOU had to confirm further. I told her to get all the stories straight, make sure my daughter is scheduled for the correct procedure, and call me back to confirm. AGAIN - never calls me back. I call again, this time speak DIRECTLY to Dr. Nold. He is wonderful, tells me everything I need to know, but he's going to send out a script for blood work my daughter needs prior to surgery. A WEEK has again gone by - his staff has sent me NO script. My husband and I have left NUMEROUS messages (as they never answer the phone), and no return call. I really like Dr. Nold. He is a great doctor, but his office staff just sucks. If I have a problem checking my daughter in for surgery next week because pre-op labs weren't completed, I'm going to SCREAM!!!!!!!
