I don't have a bag to fit that appliance! was the sales counter clerk's response in a disrespectful tone as the shopper hugged the item and left the store. On the other hand, Ben and Maria were really, really helpful in unloading the second hand toilets. Got to know Ben a little. Met the facilities maintenance guy too. Some employees either make or break (SEARS) a business. Thanks for your ever relevant work of building shelter that Habitat for Humanity does!

Literally my happy place. I love the Baldwin location & their staff. I can’t say enough great things about Habitat & what they do for the people of our community!!! Please visit, donate & call if you have any questions!
You have to check in a lot as they get new inventory and the good stuff goes fast. Great place for furniture and household items, mostly. No clothes at these stores. If you are doing home renovation on the cheap, look here first for anything from light fixtures, to paint, to sinks, toilets, dishwashers, washing machine, microwaves...get the picture? Stuff for the yard and garden, too. Nice selection of couches, loveseats, tables, chairs, always. The people who work here are friendly and even willing to cut a deal sometimes. They have people to help you load large items into your car, too. Great store!
This is a second hand store with prices of department store. Ridiculous! Not only that, I overheard an employee telling á customer that a painting was an original because it was signed. It was a print copy of a famous painting. It was dark and un-inviting.
Great found some chairs to match my dining table. Awesome to shop there. Very reasonable prices.
Certainly appealing to a certain taste. For example, if you are a movie set decorator and this may be a great place to come and find vintage sofas however for the average person looking to add to their homes I do not recommend this location. A lot of the items are more than "gently used" with plenty of scratches and would need resurfacing and a lot of cleaning.
These Habitat for Humanity ReStore used to be an amazing place to get good deals on quality items to repair or replace things in your home. They have now turned into something completely different... they have new items in there that they get donated to them or they buy it at extreme discount and are literally charging one and a half to three times more than you can buy them fresh in the box stores. They are disorganized and chaotic, not really the cleanest and the people working there usually aren't very friendly. I have given to this organization for many many years since its beginning I have donated my time, donated money, and donated items for them to sell. But until they go back to their core and maybe remember their initial reasons (wanting to help make things better for people that are trying so hard to help themselves) for starting up this organization, I think my time and energy and money can be better spent elsewhere. I do still go to the ReStores, but usually just end up finding some clothes or maybe a household item.
Fun store. If you like it buy it! It can be gone the next day. Employees are very nice and helpful.
