I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Malik for all of 2 minutes when I was a patient this past week at Orlando Health. Dr Malik literally spent 2 minutes with me. He asked me 1 question but didn’t exam me. Based on our 2 minute conversation he prescribed a new medication for me to try which he never entered the order for so I didn’t receive it before he decided to discharge me the next day. Right before I was discharged the hospitalist told me Dr Malik said all of my issues were psychosomatic so there was no need to keep me. Had Dr Malik read any of the reports that I brought with me, that he refused to look at, he would have seen how very real my issues are. The I’ve had neurological issues for over 6 years. I went to Duke University in NC, 1 of the top hospitals in the country, where I was diagnosed with Chiari Malformation, Intracranial Hypertension & Complex Partial Seizure Disorder. These conditions are very real & the reports, from Duke, would have proved just how real they are but again...he refused to look at them. This is just my opinion but if you’re looking for a good neurologist...Dr Malik is NOT the Dr for you!
