In the 30 years of going to WDW/Epcot, I think I've only been to Kringla Bakeri once or twice and neither time did I have the School Bread. My traveling companions wanted something sweet and we were already at the Norway Pavillion, so...why not. I had read so many reviews about this dessert/pastry, I thought I needed to see for myself....it was delicious!!! Custardy, coconutty, bready, yummy. I must now have one every trip from now on.

This is the best place on Disney property. They have School Bread. It's not sweet but it's bread with cinnamon baked in and a creamy coconut custard inside. The top has an icing glaze that is sweet but thin and holds on the toasted coconut. I could eat school bread every day. If you're tired of how sweet things are around the parks and like coconut and cinnamon then try this.
We visited here for breakfast and some sweets! And the choices were pretty good, with all sorts of baked goods and desserts! Yes, I did want to try them all. No, I didn’t have enough room in my stomach for them... They had a nice outdoor seating the back, fully covered to protect you from the Sun or the rain. The first item we got was School Bread. It was fluffy and sweet, but not overly sweet. The coconut was nice and fresh, and it was a pretty good, solid item. Second item was Berry Cream Puff, just because I love cream puff… I know, I should have gotten something more “Norwegian” like Viking Chocolate Mousse or Kringla or Troll Horn… But I was hungry and I was weak… At least this cream puff was amazing!!! It had a nice amount of fresh berries, cuddling a loads of fresh whipped cream with vanilla beans. So good!!! We also got Salmon and Egg Bagel. It looked better than I expected, although I wish if it had more smoked salmon… Everything was fresh, with ripe tomato, crisp onion, nicely cooked hard-boiled egg, and yes, salmon. It was quite tasty.
The food here is absolutely amazing! Big fan of the Norwegian goods like the Chocolate Kringla: really delicious and a great way to start the day. There is also a fun selection of cakes inspired by the movie Frozen. I especially loved the Bruni Cupcake. The service here is really fast and I never spent more than 5 minutes queueing unlike a lot of Disney food service places.
My wife told me she saw something on instagram, someone was saying that the school bread was amazing. We try it and a kinda creep whit cinnamon too. They where ok, but cold from the fridge. I think warm , or at least room temperature would be much better.
Great place to eat in Epcot at the Norway village. The Viking Mousse Cake was especially good as well as the Berry cake and Pumpkin muffin.
Good food. The desserts are unique. The Kringla pretzel is amazing. Theres not enough entree options in my opinion. The Norwegian club is good but not exotic if you're looking to try new things, its just a club. I still liked it anyways.
So many items to choose from, but we were happy with the sections...Bruni Cupcake and Troll Horn. Both were awesome, both would get again. This place should be a stop for everyone that walks the showcase
