I feel so incredibly frustrated and defeated by this facility. They incorrectly coded a routine well-woman PAP smear to my insurance and I have been fighting for the past 4 months to get it corrected. I have sent e-mails and placed countless phone calls yet I still can't seem to get a resolution or a follow-up from anybody. There are 250 worth of charges that should have been covered under my insurance. As an alumni and Orlando resident I hoped to establish myself as a patient here; they certainly know how to lose long-term business! The bill is about to be sent to collections so here's my final effort to get this corrected.

Came in for a regular checkup. It’s nice to getting a phone reminder and text reminder for my appointment. No issues at the front desk. The staff was friendly and put me at ease before seeing the doctor. I didn’t have to wait very long for my visit. Doctor was direct and to the point with a no nonsense manner. I appreciate the level of care for my preventative exam. I’d recommend coming here, and I appreciate the “sick call” walk-in times in the morning. As a heads-up, the signs for the parking lot from Quadrangle Blvd are hard to spot and you may overlook the entrance to park if you’re not familiar with it.

UCF Health is a wonderful facility with top notch doctors. My primary care doctor (Joyce Paulson) is wonderful! She takes so much time at appointments to make sure that everything is covered and I understand. I also see the endocrinologist, cardiologist and dermatologist at the facility. And, I have had surgery with Dr. Neychev. All my experiences with these doctors have been extremely good. I appreciate it...thank you!!

Nice people. Quick. Please do not play Christian radio stations in your lobby. I'm sure there are some neutral options available. This is very off-putting to those of us who aren't Christian.

If you actually want to be seen as scheduled I would avoid UCF Health East, or at least APRN Laura Fontanez. I had an appointment with Laura, who had me wait an hour before refusing to see me in person. She instead requested that I leave and conduct a zoom call with her from my car. This request was made after I was put in a room and the intake nurse completed all steps to obtain my information, temperature, bp, etc. Given the reason for my visit, a zoom call was futile. The woman at the front desk, Denise, was the only saving grace. I would NEVER attempt to schedule an appointment with Laura. Given her lack of desire to care for her patient(s), I think she may have chosen the wrong line of work.
