Have been looking for a mower sharpening service for a long while. Was recommended to visit Paceys. Service from Ian was first class- he was both helpful and very friendly. Blades of mower and shears were sharpened and ready in one day. Highly recommended.
Bit disappointed after being referred to them by Cobra Garden Machinery they effectively declined to undertake warranty work on my mower. Claimed always difficult getting payment from Cobra for warranty work carried out and partly and not inclined as the mower was not purchased from them. It had been a birthday gift do had no control over where it was bought. Thankfully another authorised agent accepted job readily and repaired the mower expeditiously. I'll shop elsewhere as a result. After all customers vote with their feet.
I've been a regular client of this business for more years than I care to remember. Ian and his staff are very knowledgeable, and always eager to help. I wouldn't take my garden equipment anywhere else for servicing and repairs, even though I now live about 20 miles away. It's worth the journey for reliable, reasonably priced service you can trust.
