Very nice place for the family. Surprised to see many of the animals just out in the open and coming up to everyone. You walk around and feed the animals and there is a play area at the front for the kids, once you finish walking around the park.

This park got stuck in the 1990's. The park is build to entertain the visitors and mostly the children. The animal wellbeing clearly comes in 3th place after making profit. There is no oversight around the feeding areas, so they trust the guests to read the tiny sign that the feed with corn is bad for some animals. Also they have signs that you are not allowed to feed the animals out of your hands, but if nobody is watching the visitors they will obviously still do this.
Beautiful place. Great fun for kids and adults too. You can get wild animal food for just 50c. Parking on site& cafe, also a restaurant. Also long walk so prepare comfy shoes, but 100% worth it. Also rough track for small wheel strollers but manageable. Vogel park 3km away, can purchase 2 park ticket with discounted price at the reception.
Some areas need to be more secured for little kids..especially down hills you need to make sure no kid would stumble, otherwise nice for short trips.
Nice location for animal watching. Deeres and mountain goats all around
