Great medical service \outside the box\ of a typical hospital. Very clean, personal and efficient. If you're getting a hip replacement, GO with the anterior approach like they do at OAW. Anyone who still does posterior replacements is by and large totally antiquated in this field. My surgery was outpatient and I was home eating lunch by 1pm the very same day. Great experience!

Billing department is an ABSOLUTE joke!!! Unless you plan on just giving them your credit card, look elsewhere. In Attempting to get an explanation on billing I waited on hold for about 15min, prior to selecting \1\ and attempting to leave a message. In doing so, the recording said, sorry we can't take your message, and sent me to the back of the line. Over an hr later I am yet to speak with anyone. No transparency in billing as is the case with almost any medical procedure. So frustrating!!! Will update if I am ever able to speak to a person.

I had my thumb and index finger knuckles on my right hand ‘repaired & replaced’ by Dr. Al-Shihabi. The day surgery center is a great setup for your patients. Everyone is professional, knowledgeable, courteous and friendly. I much prefer going there than the hospital. Dr. A-S seems very capable. I have been seeing him for 2.5 years getting cortisone shots leading up to the recent surgery. I am particularly impressed by his written explanation of what to expect: pain management, dressings, activities, therapy, and recovery time line. As soon as the surgery was scheduled I received his documents via email. It was a great help in scheduling the next three months of my life, what to expect, what I could do, and what to prepare for. At discharge this was all reviewed again with my wife. I appreciated the thoroughness and clarity that was on paper for me to be able to refer to as needed. Of all my various surgeries over the years these were the best instructions I have ever received.

Extremely disappointed. This place has really gone downhill. Everyone in the waiting area looks miserable, the staff are rude, it feels like it has turned into a revolving door of insurance and not much else. I thought Dr Bong was the best, too bad he is affiliated with this place as I would still trust him but not the surgeon we had 15 months ago. We went somewhere else after this other dr completely failed to listen to our concerns, 15 months later (pain filled months) the surgery he did was a completely failure and has to be re-done. There are much better places to go where they actually listen to you.
