We booked our homebuyers survey with Osborne Irish. All in all it was a very positive experience with a professional team. We were really happy with the level of service and the detail provided in the report. Our surveyor Mark was clearly confident in his knowledge of the property beforehand and was able to answer all questions we had immediately after the survey.

Terrible service, I got in touch with Osborne Irish Associates for a building survey and liaised with a lady called Mary Blyth. I booked in a date to have the building survey which was of an urgent matter. After a couple of weeks of booking it Mary told me that she had now booked someone else for the date I had booked and that I had to re-book it. I was reluctant to rebook it with them after being let down so badly but I had no other option as waiting lists everywhere else were so long. I rebooked for a later date with Osborne Irish and then a day later Mary cancelled. She was also extremely rude throughout. I'm sure the Surveyors are good enough but the service is terrible and they will let you down! I do not recommend.
I would totally disagree with Lydia. Mark arrived at our house at 2pm on a Wednesday afternoon and on Friday morning we received our reports. All relevant, succinct and all photos totally necessary. Osborne Irish are a fully independent practice, having no direct connection with any financial institution or estate agency group and as such, are able to offer completely impartial, professional advice supported by a personal and efficient service to all clients. The chartered surveyors have a wealth of experience in undertaking surveys and valuations in Bristol and surrounding areas. The best thing about Osborne Irish is you get to deal directly with the managing directors whose local knowledge of Bristol is second to none. I have used many surveyors over the years as a property developer but never found a firm so reliable, accurate and cost effective. I would highly recommend them.
I completely disagree with the review saying that Osborne Irish's Full Building Survey was no good. I decided to have a Full Building Survey carried out by Osborne Irish, it was an old property and I wanted to make some structural changes. Osborne Irish helped me through the process from start to finish. The report was very thorough and the photos that were included helped me identify the different areas in the property where there were problems etc. I was able to talk through the report with the surveyor who carried out the survey and spoke to him several times before I actually exchanged. I found Osborne Irish very professional and knowledgeable and would not hesitate to recommend them to friends and family.
