This is a good restaurant, but not great. Sure, there is value for the money and the social eating menu will definitely leave you stuffed, but the tastes are a bit sharp and don't match each other that well. The atmosphere is nice and the staff are very polite and give good service and attention.

Today we decided to have family dinner, we orders some drinks and appetizer and we was thinking about to order something else when waiter- British guy with black earrings- came to us and abruptly!!! Ask us how long we will be seating there!!! I was shocked, my daughter ask him if it's reservation on the table? But he said that he just wanted to know when we leaving...he asked only us! ...we get to other restaurant when we enjoy nice family evening and dinner. Never again!. Shame on you to treat costumers like this!
Not even nearly enough food. Ordered 5 dishes and then needed to buy a pizza at my local pizzeria. Paid 50 for the food and total 100 for the entire dinner. Really good food but it was so small plates that I was hungry when I left
Not nearly enough food which is not the worst part. Received 2 super mini crab tacos made with some sort of over saltet "crab paste" and tortillas with mushroom paste. The best and only good thing was the beer that my daughter in law ordered. After about 45 min the waiter which did not speak any Norwegian but only British English asked how much longer we will be sitting because he had to plan his afternoon. He asked only us about leaving and no one else. We will never return. We eat out quite often but I recommend against this over priced restaurant with some of the worst service. #NEVERAGAINBARSOCIALEATINGVULCAN
Absolutely delicious and one of a kind food (the salmon was out of this world!). Drinks were amazing, too. Lovely setting!
Got the "social eating" menu, a great culinary experience with well sized portions of tasty, crispy, sometimes spicy, delicious courses. The wine we got recommended was excellent and a great match to the food. I got surprised by the softshell crab, delicious, once passed the natural initial reluctance to eat it with its shell.
I found a deal on Letsdeal, where you would have a 8 course testing menu on Social Eating. I was really exited to finally try the restaurant out, booking went really well and the service over the phone to confirm my table was really good. When me and my friend arrived at the restaurant we where showed to our table by our waiter. Our (female) waiter didn't come to take our drinks before maybe 12 Minutes. We where quite annoyed but she excused herself and everything was forgotten there and then. The starters was quite good, me personally really enjoyed the crab tacos and the Quesadilla this two where the stars off the entire 8 course Meal. what really dragged down the experience was that for every servings we had to wait really long to get our food served. And this was on a Wednesday and it wasn't really busy at all. After a while it started to be humorist, the waiters switched a couple of times. Our male waiter was really good and described what we sould eat first and what was in the dishes. The salmon was not good at all. ( I really like salmon) the rest of the meals were okey but no Wow factor. We payed 618 for the Deal and 500 for the wine, 1118 in Total. Normal price would be 1236 and 1736 in total. So if i would have ordered this on a ordinary price i would have payed old most 2000kr for food that disappointed and service that was disappointing i would have been really disappointed.
The venue is perfect for food and drinks in the afternoon. Turns into one of Oslo’s hottest nightclubs after midnight. Try their espresso martini, it’s like liquid candy!
