Very cool setting, the best things in life are done in the dark.

The mushroom toast is the most delicious thing I ate in Oslo, so good!

I love the food and the great atmosphere at Glør Oslo! My favourite is the Korean burger with fried potatoes. Don't forget to order a dessert, it's so delicious!

The competition out there is fierce, but GLØR is missing something. We sat outside in the passage. Even if the restaurant was not visited by many people this evening, the wait for the food was longer than expected. Personally I'm not that fond of fermented food, kimchi and such, but the combination I had were fine enough. The guy who served us did a very good job. However, a good product from the kitchen and the bar (nice cocktails by the way) is somewhat destroyed by the toilet facilities. How difficult can it be to replace a broken paper dispenser? And the rattling taps could use a service from the plumber.

Well.... Expensive, sold out on most of the options on the menu and we had to hunt down those working here in order to get any service. The kimchi was good, and that secured the one star. The entrecote has a handsome price, comparable to gold looking at price per weigth unit, and we got more or less the same volume, unless we count the beetroot coloured cauliflower underneath it. The ribs should in all honesty be named rib, in singular, as the serving was one rib with some kimchi on the side. The side dishes were bland and probably something I could have made equally well at home.
