The Harbour Promenade Oslo’s new harbour promenade combines sightseeing, history, art, architecture, and a little bit of adventure. The Harbour Promenade (Havnepromenaden) stretches nine kilometres along Oslo's water front. It ties the city together from east to west, turning different parts of town into a string of great experiences.
Lovely scenery. Great for photography
This is box or point 10 on the promenade. One of the longest you can have in a capitol city. 10k with points like this from 1-14. Good descriptions on every box with stories and pictures from the history. Allow 1,5 to 2,5 hours walking the whole promenade. Plenty of cafes and restaurants by. You might bring a jacket for the wind. Wheelchair access all over. If you start at number 1 take the train to Skøyen or bus to Bygdøy. Stop at Skøyen.
Love the location! And the view is incredible and amazing! Just look at these pictures and videos of the places you can see. There are plenty of benches and a lot of places to sit and relax in the sun and also have the most amazing views at the same time.
Pretty harborfront and nice place to take a walk. Great views of the opera house, the harbor and the fjord.
So nice place
