If i need some tools...i go here. Needed a wood-spiral-drillbit 300mm or more in length and 16mm diameter....hard to find at normal \iron-goods-shops\ in oslo...they had one 16mm x 460mm. yay! Could finally make holes for wiring UTP cables to the 2nd floor of the house. Needed something to seal the holes..and sure enough he had some wood-filling bits of 20mm...so i only need to make a hole for tp cable to go through and voila. This shop also lend out tools for free, as long as you buy the bits and stuff you need. Once borrowed a concrete hammer drill from them over a weekend. Saved me a lot of money. Have needed a big array of various screws and tools....and this shop never seem to NOT have what i need. The staff are extremely knowledgeable and more than willing to brainstorm solutions for your needs. Also bought locks and door handles here as they have a wide array of that too. Only thing i wish they had was an online inventory overview like a webshop. This is my #1 recommended place to go if you need anything small and made of metal for your needs!

Just about the only remaining old-fashioned hardware shop \Jernvarehandel\ (selling nuts and screws and the like) in Oslo West. If they don't have what you need, they will know who does and direct you there. Highly recommended!
