We tried to find a nice restaurant to celebrate Chinese New Year eve in Oslo. Happy to find La Brasserie and we enjoy our dinner there. Nice environment & good food. Their desserts are excellent & I like vanilla ice-cream very much. Happy Year of PIG!

I was in Oslo in July and had the Bouillabaisse for dinner, it was delicious. The base was a light fish broth instead of the usual tomato, it was so good I requested the recipe. I was a woman travelling alone and the waiter was extremely attentive. The accompanying wine was also very good. If I ever get back to Oslo, I most definitely will be back at La Brasserie.
La Brasserie in Oslo is a typical lively french brasserie, with a big outdoor terrasse, where smoking is allowed. Nice and cozy, and well suited for families. My family ate seafood and bouillabaisse, the soup was even better than in France! (It was a private recipe from Monaco.) La Brasserie is very well recommended!
A beautiful evening made possible by the "Chef Virani" with over 20 years of experience. Everything was absolutely perfect, the food, the temperature of the wine, the delicate atmosphere, the kind service. We will definitively come back and recommand this restaurant! Enjoy!!
