This is a neighborhood gem. Trails are well marked. Preserve is in great condition with on going work. Clean bathroom in visitor center and a clean compost outhouse by parking lots.

Great place. Our 2 year old son loved the walk around the lake. Managed it all, with a little help on the tricky bits. Various Places to sit. Very relaxing. Will go back and work up to harder trails. Recommended. Do not take a stroller!

Teatown Lake Reservation is beautiful. It only costs 5 to park there for the day and there are many trails you can try out. The blue trail or lakeside trail is only 1.5 miles and good for kids. Though a stroller would be hard to take around the entire trail since there are some bumpy spots. We saw baby ducks and a few herons on the lake, too!

Wonderful nature for all to explore. Plenty of hiking trails, year round programs for kids and families, some wildlife in refuge. Can't steer wrong here. Plan at least a few hrs visiting. Parking can be challenging on weekends and holiday season.
