Great place to hike, but it does flood during the rainy season. Make sure you bring water with you and leave early enough to get back before dark. The red trail is over six miles alone, and this is a very diverse place, cutting through cow pastures, oak hammocks, old growth pine, swamp and scrub. Deep creek also passes through it so I will probably take an ultralight next time to see if I can catch any of those mahogany bass like Econ.

My dog Emma and I went camping for 5 days last week. It rained, there were ants and we had a great time! It's a beautiful area with really nice trails.

The Palm Bluff Conservation Area Located Several Miles North Of Osteen Off State Road 415 Is Managed By The St John's River Water Management District As An Area Of Special Concern To This Area's Hydrology, And The Preservation Of A Very Unique And Ecologically Sensitive Habitat. This Beautiful Area Of Mixed Woodland Of Upland Sandhill Pine, Midlothian Forest, And Hardwood Hammock Is A Great Place For Hiking, Birdwatching, Horseback Riding, And Cycling. The Trails Are Pretty Well Maintained, But Take Note That Areas Of The Trail Network Will Pass Through Swamp That Hold Water Even During A Dry Spell So Dress Appropriately. This Is Genuine Central Florida And Biting Insects And Poisonous Snakes Are Common And Attention Must Be Paid To Protect Yourself Camping Is Available In A Developed Site Near The Parking Area That Contains Fire Rings And A Pump Well With Non-Potable Water. Group Camping Is Also Allowed, But All Overnight Visitors Must Obtain A Free Permit Available From The SJWMD Website Or By Contacting The Districts Main Office In Palatka. This Is 100% Real Florida.

About a 30 minute hike around the loop on foot at a medium pace. Good wild life, and also Horse trail friendly

I came here for the first time with my bicycle. It was quite different than what I am used to riding on in Tennessee, but thought it was a blast for Florida trails. Saw some wildlife, but nobody else was on the trails during my midweek Excursion. What also make good trails for hiking or trail running!

Beautiful forest with miles of trails to explore. The white trail is a nice, easy 2.3 mile hike that is well marked and easy to follow. The trails may be flooded depending of recent rain levels, so wear boots/shoes to don't mind getting muddy.

Took our horses out there to ride. Nicely groomed, well marked trails.

Great time! We walked the White (novice) trail. It was roughly 2.5 miles round-trip. I plan to return for a more challenging trail soon.
