Did you know Tuscany is the Italian version of Texas? I didn't until I saw a two-inch thick T-bone go by me here! My wife and I ate here twice and both meals were great. Interesting and varied menu, GREAT value, attentive staff. Passerby are not shy about starting a conversation with you about your meal if outside. Hmmm.

A Florentine institution - popular with the locals as well as tourists. Osteria del Porcellino serves simple, authentic Italian food of outstanding quality. Excellent service, and very reasonable prices. I come here every time I visit Florence and have had a perfect meal every time.

Great service but the pasta was abit raw and not fully cooked properly. It took a little too long for the food to come out considering it was 3:30pm and there were only two other tables. 2 service charge per person.

Good service, well prepared dishes though one was not exactly to the taste of my dining partner (well prepared all the same). We sat outside though after bring seated glanced inside. I would recommend sitting inside if possible, the atmosphere and ambience seemed better there. Outside was still enjoyable as late evening turned to night around us.
