Don't visit Otaru without visiting this beautiful gallery. I loved the collection of stained glass which is beautifully displayed. The Tiffany collection is fabulous. Although the entrance fee of 2,000 yen (for all three buildings) is a little steep it is definitely worth it.

ステンドグラス美術館・似鳥美術館のついでに訪問 プロジェクションマッピングもよかったけどステンドグラスが圧巻 建物の外観も内装も重厚です。

今回は屋外の風鈴通りを堪能するため訪問。名前は忘れましたが、時計仕掛けのアートもとても面白い。旧三井銀行に続いて、旧拓銀も救って頂き、ニトリさんには本当に感謝しています。 美術館は特に邦画のコレクションが良いと思います、魁夷や玉堂はじめ、見逃せない物もたくさん。そこに日本で邦画と洋画の影響を取り入れつつ活動を続けた洋画家や、ガレやドーム、ユトリロなどジャポニスムの影響を感じる作家など、ちょうど小樽が全盛だった時代の文化を理解するには格好の場所です。 目の高さでじっくり鑑賞できるイギリスからのステンドグラスも見逃せません。

企画展で川瀬巴水の版画の展覧会をやっていました。作品は素晴らしいのですが、その展示室の照明が明るめの蛍光灯のため 反射の映り込みが あり 非常に鑑賞、撮影しづらかったです。 そこさえ改善いただければ パーフェクト。
