Incredibly affordable for how nice the stay was. My family of 4 barely broke 6000 for one night. They even put an extra bed to sleep on before we went up to our room. Also, they checked us in early without hesitation and accommodated parking for our large vehicle. The location was superior as far as access to the infamous canal, epic shopping, and wonderful food selection. I highly recommend this location if you want cheap but excellent!

Good experience stay in hotel nord Otaru. This is an well maintained old fashion style hotel. the room may not big but clean and Comfortable. Breakfast is delicious and all made from Hokkaido ingredients. Location is perfect you can go to most of attractions by foot. You also can find good restaurants near this hotel.
Room is on 6F, the view is great and room is clean and classic. Location is superb
Stayed in a 3 bedder with family. Beds were comfortable and comes with memory foam pillows. 2 attached toilets so there's no fighting in the morning. Also 2 basins so everyone can use at the same time. The location is perfect for walking around the small town. Anywhere between the scenic River to the shopping belt. Parking available within the building via car lift at 1200yen per night.
I passed through the canal-side hotel many times before. On Feb 3, 2020, I checked in the hotel for the first time. I found the service was very good.
This hotel is very good. In old building but with modern furnishings. Staff were exceptionally attentive. Breakfast buffet was very good for the price. Lovely views from the entire place. Very easy to find hotel, very easy to access other shops etc. Once you park the car, you can walk everywhere. Would definitely stay again
Very nice clean and spacious room. A bit dated but the suite had 2 toilets, a bathroom with a bathtub that could be an onsen. About 10 minutes walk from the train station but suggest to take a taxi if you have a lot of luggage (especially during winter with snow on the sidewalk). Breakfast was alright and not memorable.
