I have had a review posted with them but this has been deleted most probably by Avis. I had a very bad experience with this Avis location, very rude costumer service and thief's behavior. They asked me to pay 250 euros for an invisible scratch 2017. I do not recommend this location.

Great service, no silly extras just a good quality car delivered with a minimum of fuss
I rented a polo with them recently, everything went well. Had the car for 4 days, they only held 100 euros on my Visa card and they were nice when I returned the car. I wasn’t charged for any damage, that’s all I can really ask from a car rental company so I gave them 5 stars.
The guys working here are really helpful. The process of dropping off the car always goes smooth, and if you are running late on your flight they will speed the process as much as they can. We had a time when we did not wait for the shuttle to take us to the departures terminal, because it was picking up some customers from the Arrivals terminal, even though we called in advanced and told them that we will be nearly missing our flight. Thus we preferred to run trough the parking lot not to lose the flight
Friendly staff at the Otopeni Airport booth as well at the pick up location. Car was clean inside and out. Staff were fluent in English. A short shuttle ride to the vehicle pick up/drop off location. I’d caution that you take a video of the vehicle before you finalize the pick up documents, and take another video when you return to ensure that you are not charged for a preexisting damage. I speak from experience: when I returned the vehicle, the hawk-eyed Avis staff noted a small dent and asked a few questions about it. I was able pull up the video that I had taken prior to signing of the documents and thus provided proof of the preexisting dent.
Easy game. When you pick up the car, any scratch is so small, they measure with the diameter rule, and no need to be noted down. Another story when you drop off the car. Same scratch now is faulty and when I asked the responsible to check with the diameter rule , he refused it. I wrote disconformity, but they take advantage that you are in a hurry for not losing your flight.
Quick and friendly service. The area was very clean and conveniently located near the terminals. The shuttle ride was very short and direct.
