Usually people review places when they're not ok with a service. It easy to forget to leave a good one. Because of reviews I had really low expectations. Not only I had great customer service at pick up but the van I rented was clean, brand new and the deposit was returned within 3 days since I dropped it off. I rented cars in the US and other European countries and Hertz Bucharest surprised me. Will come back and rent again.

We arrived at closing time but was helped nicely on the phone and got our car very fast. Fast and problem free return of the car as well. On top we got an upgrade for free as well. Recommended
Don't rent from them. One star is too much. They were very rude, not polite at all. And they asked 450 for a car per one day. This is ridiculous. Even they were making fun of us 'cause we have too many suitcases. We are 2 persons with 2 luggage each. Don't go to Hertz. 0 stars
It was an efficient pick-up, documentation/formalities took under 10 minutes at the airport desk followed by a short drive to the parking area. Front desk staff, Claudio, was very professional and handled everything in a timely manner. Usually rental car experiences are not nice but this was an exception. Recommended.

Desk impossible to find no signage so good luck! Filthy car, covered in damage, which apparently was a free upgrade!! Car pick up point is a fair distance from the desk, nightmare with alot of luggage! No one there when i returned the car had to post the keys, bad service. 6 MONTHS ON THESE SHISTERS TRIED CHARGING MY CREDIT CARD AVOID!
We waited more than an hour to pick up the car because the previous person did not return it on time. The good thing is that we got an upgrade... we paid for a Corolla, but got a Ford Eco, which we loved.
When I arrived at 00.30 in Otopeni airport, I was just hoping for a fast and good service that would allow me to get the car and drive home. To my surprise, it took the agent more than 10 minutes just to find the car in the system ( inappropriate log from the service staff, I was told). When I finally got into the car, it was smelling like cigars, there was garbage (papers and an old cigarette package) in the doors, the board informed me that I should change the oil soon and there was no drop of water to clean the window.
