I am a long term tenant & Otorohanga Motor Camp is a great place to stay at for affordable prices with everything available to visitors, toilets, kitchen, laundry etc....it's a great place, owner is great to deal with also. Recommended to other visitors

Quite place hot water, microwave, fridge, stove WC provided amenities are old 15 per night per person. System working with honesty box there was no one around rite behind the Otorohanga Kiwi House best place to camp around.
It was good and good hospitality and help from a guy who stays there had every think that we needed safe and quiet

Just average. The town center just a 12 minute walk with interesting local shops
We turned up yesterday evening and were allocated a pitch by the long term residents who were really friendly. The pitch was between a van and a caravan with a tent attached. The guy with the van was very friendly. There was no sign of the caravan owner. The owner of the camp park turned up and collected the fees and was happy with our position. This morning we were confronted by the young woman who owned the caravan and tent who wasn't happy with our position. She would not listen to what we had to say about being told to park there by the owner and other residents. What a horrible person. There are 4 adults taking up space of about 4 pitches in a normal camp site. If I was the owner I would kick them out.
I love this place. Nice kitchen, clean toilets and you can come anytime during the night... I came here a few times now, nice stop to break the road
Nice spot, shower/toilets for free. 15/night 10/powered spot based on an honesty box. Washing machine and dryer (Not working so good) for 2. No WiFi.
