My husband and I really like this place. The online updates on my child's care is awesome, and they always appear to take great care of our daughter. I have never once felt uncomfortable with leaving her there, and compared to my step-children's daycare in another city, this place is amazing. You get what you pay for, yes the prices are quite high, but I know that's because she is getting great care and free meals. I wouldn't send her to any other place. Plus they have great activities for the children year around. I have peace of mind sending my child here. Be aware that the management team is busy, but that's because they are busy working and doing their job. It's nice they are consistently working and not just sitting at their desk. I gave this a rating of 4 instead of 5 because I wish it were slightly cheaper.

We had a terrible experience with them and it cost us 700 for 4 days of care(which did not meet our standards). Our child got RSV during her 1st week bc they accepted a child that was extremely sick looking & should never have been allowed to stay. Trust your motherly instincts!! We were told that we would get a refund, then later they backed out & refused. We simply asked for our spot to be held until our child was healthy & strong enough to return. They refused to work with us on that. Our daughter was sick for 2months, placed on breathing treatments, steroids and we faced hospitalization at only 3 months old. After leaving we read state reports (available online) that care givers we're abusive to children. High staff turn over rate... I've yet to hear great reviews! Steer clear!
Weekly staff turn over, toddlers don't get as much focus needed (my 3 year old managed to get out of the building 3 times and got sent home as the solution for their lack of attention). The curriculum and programs used are great it's the lack of staff and overall leadership that fails in communication and organization. After 8 years with our three kids attending we removed our boys. Note all the interior photos posted are from the Kalamazoo center. The Otsego facility is quite old and does not have the amazing set up shared here in photos.
I love Appletree. They teach the kids so much and they have fun while doing it. My daughter has been going here since she was 8 months old and she loves it. She is now 3 and in the preschool class where she is learning all she needs to know for kindergarten. They also have extra activities that they participate in such as dances, parents night out, and holiday activities for the whole family.
Appletree is so kind & caring. Any concerns I've had have always been handled in a caring and professional manner. I can't imagine trusting anyone else with my child.
