I don't understand how a restaurant can be in business. I feel sorry about the way they run their establishment. Staff was very rude. Felt as if I was bothering him when I asked for a glass of water. He replied " We don't have water". I stated that a glass of water would be fine if they didn't have bottled water. He continued to say we don't have water, we only have warm water. I didn't bother arguing. I didn't even finish my meal, which i believed was reheated in the microwave. I paid my bill and left. Strangest experience walking into a restaurant and the food was nothing to rant about.

It says temporarily closed but then again the grill smoke everyday and it stinks bad if he cooks on that grill well its dirty like crazy
My favourite restaurant in the city. Chicken is amazing, flavourful throughout, not just the skin. The plantains are great and I also love the djollof rice and the golden grill salad. Also the lady who runs it is so friendly. The food is also consistent with the Gladstone golden grill. I’m a lifelong customer
Stopped in for lunch and we really were not sure what to expect. The place is not much to look at, inside and out. The drink cooler was not plugged in and the soft drink cans were room temperature. The chicken was good, but very small. There were four of us and we tried a variety of sides that were all good, but not great. We won't be heading back.
I didn't even end up ordering food even though it smelled out of this world when entering the cook was acting a way that it made us feel like we were bothering him so we left. The ony reason they get 1 star is for how great the food smelled.
I walked into this restaurant for the first time because it smelt amazing from outside. I was the only customer there. I ordered my quarter chicken meal and had to pay in advance before the man went to the back to "make my food". All I heard was the microwave going off 3-4 times as he grabbed cold food from the fridge and continued to reheat my food. If I didn't pay in advance, I would have walked out as soon as I heard the microwave. If I wanted left overs, I would have stayed home. I will not go back ...
Food amazing, service is phenomenal. Spicy and tender. Definitely on my return list
Place comes off as a front business. Tried it when it first opened and more recently, definitely something strange up
