I got ear impressions for CIEMs done here. They use a proper bite block and Neil was very helpful and patient with going through the whole process. He made the experience very comfortable. The cost was comparable to other places for both ears with the addition that they're the only audiologist in Ottawa I could find that was recognized by an IEM company. Highly recommend especially for headphone ear impressions.

Dr. Fine is incredibly personable and professional. He offers prompt e-mail responses and provides clear and thorough explanations of conditions and treatments. After an episode of sudden sensorineural hearing loss in 2016, I became very sensitive to loud and high-pitched noises. Dr. Fine first fitted me with sleep earplugs, which are incredibly comfortable and efficient. I returned once more to get musician's earplugs (15 dB filters, pictured below) and found them to be a complete game-changer. As an aspiring speech therapist, I was growing incredibly concerned that my noise sensitivity would prevent me from reaching my dream career. Thankfully, my earplugs have since allowed me to walk into rooms full of children for work and feel perfectly comfortable. I highly recommend Hear Fine!

He explained everything that was going to be tested and ran through them efficiently with a sense of humour. He has a great rapport with his clients and is very knowledgeable. My experience today with Neil at Hear Fine was fantastic. He was extremely personable and made me feel at ease. Neil took the time to explain who he is, his education and the process and procedures of the hearing test. The test itself was smooth and he gave opportunities to ask questions if needed. Neil took the time to thoroughly explain the results of the test and offered insight into what he felt was going on.
