Absolutely delicious! I would definitely come back again to try other items on the menu. My visit inspired me to try a recipe from the Coconut Lagoon cookbook, and it was also superb. Thank you so much for bringing a little piece of India to Ottawa!

Food was very flavourful and filling. The gulab jamun, a bit pricey, but delicious! Service and COVID-19 safety precautions were thorough!
We expected better from the Coconut Lagoon when we ordered the Valentine's Dinner special. They were will organised and the meal was ready on time. But after the 10 minute drive home it was already cold because there was no way to insulate the meal. The food was very bland, missing all the traditional alluring Indian aromas and flavours and each dish seemed watery. It would have helpful if each dish had been labeled with what it was
I have been traveling past Thali's for quite a few years. February 2021 I finally decided to check it out. The food was delicious. I had asked them to up the heat and they did not disappoint. Prices were quite reasonable for the portion sizes. I had leftovers for next day lunch and a dinner the following day. The staff were courteous and the service was quick. I chose curbside during COVID times. Highly recommend if you wish to have quality service and Indian food. Suggestions, try the Mushroom Ooty and the Goan shrimp. The Briyani is lovely. It is 4.5 stars worthy.
Their food tastes fresh and has very good quality. Nice setting inside the restaurant.
