The Green Door Restaurant has been one of the best Vegetarian/ Vegan health food restaurant in Ottawa for decades. It is located at 198 Main st in a quickly developing, thriving trendy area in Ottawa. The food selection, freshness, variety and taste is awesome. You select what you want from the buffet style display of trays and then get what you picked weighed to calculate your price. I like eating their soup with a kale mixed salad the best. Right now with Covid you can place and order for pick up or they will deliver. You wont be disappointed. If you like my reviews, photos or videos give them a thumbs up. Lets all work towards a greener healthier planet.

This is the absolute best vegetarian restaurant one will ever find. Great tasty food of all kinds. And almost guilt-free deserts to die for! My favorite place without a doubt!
One of my all time favourite restaurants!! Cannot recommend this place enough. The food is always tasty and fresh, and there’s a great variety - I would eat here everyday if I could. My favourites are the quiche, the kale mash potatoes and the lasagna. Also the raw kale salad. Oh and the cheesecake here is the best I’ve ever had!
So good! We ordered the vegan meal for 4 and will have enough for two meals. Everything is very tasty. It was easy to pre-order and pay online. We picked it up as we could not have it delivered to Gatineau. Well worth the detour.
Wow...Not Just The Vegetables Your Mother Served!!!..... I'm Not Vegetarian, Vegan, Gluten-free, Dairy Free, etc..... But this place is.....and has an amazing Buffet Style Choice of breads, starters, salads, main corses and desserts included.!! An abundance of variety and flavor of foods....Highly Recommend This for Those Who Have Special Diets they follow or those Who Just Love Food and may also want a Flavorful, Reasonably priced Meal.!! One of my to 10 meals Ever!!
