This is a great store with tons of gems for the bargain hunter. The owner is strict about people just wasting time as it is a pandemic and rules must be followed so I understand. Will be returning soon!

My sister and I came into the store (had to call first) and we just wanted to look around. We look around the store and it is very hard to move around, my sister and I ask the man if we could go upstairs to see the clothes and he said sure, we start walking up and it’s very dark (no light at all). We got a weird feeling and walked back down and he got mad at us for that and told us to leave in a very angry tone and said he had to work, very weird and creepy.
Wonderful store! Massive selection and fair pricing. Just be sure to carve out a fairly large chunk of time for browsing; it's a bit more chaotic than the average big box store. However, that just means that it's even more satisfying when you stumble across some hidden treasures!
Sign on door instructing to knock "if you actually need something" (or something to that extent) so I did because I'm on the hunt for a few specific items, and would have liked to have a look around anyway. The man in the store was pretty abrupt and rude when he answered the door. I explained that I'd like to have a look around if the store is open for browsing and he said he prefers if people are "actually here for something" but "fine come in, there's no one here anyway". There was no indication that the store was only open by appointment and the open sign was in the window. I felt extremely unwelcome and left quickly because I just had a really bad feeling over all. There's a photo framing shop inside as well, so the only explanation I can think of is that this man was running the frame shop and is not really responsible for Value Hunter's. But then why not just say so?
I am a hunter of value, however, I almost removed a star because it is in fact, not on a corner. All of these low reviews critiquing Hassan are crazy bonkers. He's one of the most empathetic, kind-hearted shop keepers I have ever hunted for value with.
Amazing selection of everything you could dream of. A thrifters paradise! The shop owner was kind and courteous to us the entire time and let us stay a little bit past closing time to make our purchases. I recommend this store to anyone in need of vintage clothes, shoes, books, and more.
The store person was extremely unfriendly and cagey, and when we went to leave without buying anything told us to get the f out. I have never experienced anything like it, was terrible
Lovely place, a ton of stuff to choose from and the store owner is wonderful. Has basically anything you can think of, highly recommend
