Safe level site if you need an overnight before or after the ferry. Easy access to dunes and beach.

Excellent motorhome aire at the Ouistreham port (Caen), about half a kilometre from the port exit. 10 euros for overnight stop, just the place when you arrive on a late ferry and don't want to drive very far before stopping for the night. Good facilities. UK local authorities take note.

Car park style Aire for 40 motor homes about 4 minutes from Caen ferry terminal. Excellent location, 10/ngt water extra but ferry engines and loud speaker PA noisy when ferry is docked. Location outweighs background noise. Good dog walking area and beach nearby.

Love this port, apart from peoe trying to get into cars on he way through the town. Please everyone keep doors locked and don't stop. Me and one other man had to wrestle a man trying to get in to England to the ground. Not a pretty site for children to witness. Please just be aware.

ISpent 3 years working in France my main terminal was Brittany Ferries great service Great service you've got the Mont Saint-Michel and the Normandy there has been changes at the ferry port of Caen very security conscious due to the immigrants trying to cross the border there is a cafe toilets and check in in the main terminal just before you queue up for the ferry

Ferry on time but hot food awful not what you would expect when you have all the time on board to prep and cook better meals from Burger Van's on the side of road Sort it out

Needs better/some security to stop the migrants. The site is in a great location and has great views BUT!!! The migrant camp is very close and they enter the site freely trying lockers and doors even face up to the windows looking in, Very scary did not feel safe at all ended up leaving just 20 minutes after arriving as we felt so unsafe. Parked up at the ferry port with armed guards beside us and used the ports facilities.
