During my D-Day tour I did visit the Le grand Bunker. When you walk towards it you can't believe that there is such a massive bunker in a nice and quiet street. But our of the sudden you will see this massive block of concrete. Around the bunker they put some armoured trucks and tanks. But the most interesting part is the inside of the bunker. Most of the original signs are still on the walls and they also show you how the Allied forces managed to breach this bunker. The battle damage is still visible. When you are not afraid of heights you need to see the roof of the bunker. The museum does not have a parking but it is possible to park in the streets in front of the bunker. here the parking is free and the tickets are affordable.

Very cool Nazi Bunker with tons of information about the war and what went on in that concrete building. Info panels in German, French, and English so many travelers will be able to read and be fully immersed in the history. The only downside for some is that in every room there are manikins which may or may not give off an eerie vibe. But all in all an amazing bunker and an amazing slice of history.
A great introduction into the Atlantic wall, well worth a visit. Be warned its steps from 1 level to the next and some low door frames so be warned if your tall, you can even climb up the ladder to get out onto the top floor, not sure whats there as I didn't go. While your in the area try and visit as many of the other memorials, sites etc as you can.
First time ever I've seen a bunker from the inside. And very much worth it. Well done, folks. Well preserved and reenacted.
A very interesting one off place steeped deep in D Day connection and a key part of invasion.
Very interesting just to see. and think how lucky I was not there
Good informative second world war museum
