Museum dedicated mainly to the 177 French commandos that landed here on the D day. One must remember the Frigate Captain Felippe Kiefer, who led his men with great courage and audacity. There are several mannequins here in French, American and German uniforms, as well as various armaments and equipment. You can also watch the story of the French "Green Berets" on a screen. Great place to visit!

Especially liked the first hand accounts of the French soldiers who joined the commandos. Small museum but very interesting. Recommend also visiting the museum at Pegasus Bridge

Fantastically understated, fascinating and very moving. An excellent example to us of how much we owe.

The best place in Normandy for understand the history. There are different videos, but in one of them the famous vétéran Léon Gautier explains -using an amazing model- HOW HE LIVED THE LANDING This is the very first visit you have to do in Sword!
