Place worth visiting even if you aren't a big fan of flowers. Place has three main sections. Tropical, not so tropical and the outdoor section during summertime. Beautiful exotic flowers of many shapes and sizes. Last time I went the entry was free and there is a place at the entry where you can leave your jackets and stuff. I visit there regularly because different flowers bloom in different times.

It's a spectacular place to see which has a lot of trees and plants. In the flat city of Oulu, seeing even one small hill excites you. You can find a number of small hills in this garden. In addition there are a number of small ponds that makes the place very beautiful and refreshing.

We had a function in this venue. It was apt as the participants spoke about agri products and services. The garden greenhouses are not huge but house a wide collection of flora from the tropics and temperate regions. It was pleasant to roam in the greenhouses Julia and Romeo.

This is a fantastic botanical garden! Two large glass pyramids form the buildings for the tropical collections. And what at collection - well maintained and organized beautifully. I went there during early spring, but during warmer seasons there is also an outdoor exhibition. This place is really worth a visit. Even for people not generally interested in botany.
