I had an awesome visit at Ovation. The host was very helpful and professional. He explained everything clearly. The eye doctor was very thorough in his exam. He asked plenty of questions with care and gave lots of valuable advice as well. I will definitely make this my permanent place for my annual eye exams. If I could give more stars, I would...they both deserve them.

I was referred to Dr. Burris at Ovation Eye Institute for the removal of numerous skin tags and moles from my eye area. I was immensely pleased with the service I received. The doctor used numbing cream first followed by the teeniest shots of pain killers before snipping them off. I didn’t feel a thing. He kept me informed as he proceeded, checked to see how I was feeling often, and even asked if I wanted to listen to some music. I recommend him to family as soon as I got in my car.

I was visiting DC on vacation and needed an emergency appointment late on a Saturday afternoon. Dr. Burris went the extra mile in seeing me on his day off as I needed my eye dilated due to my fearing that I had a detached retina. With compassionate warmth and thorough care, he confirmed the diagnosis, and then referred me to an excellent ophthalmologist who did emergency surgery the next morning. Had it not been for Dr. Burris's accurate clinical analysis, diagnosis, and treatment, I could have lost my eye sight due to the urgency involved with a detached retina. I am forever grateful to him and I highly recommend him. In fact, I wish I lived closer so I could continue seeing him for all my eye care needs.

Dr. Burris removed a cyst right on the corner of my eye lid. He did an excellent job, recovery was quick and painless, and you can't even tell the cyst was there or removed. Scheduling was quick and easy. The offices are sleek, clean, and modern. I would highly recommend. He did a FANTASTIC job. I will be back.

My experience with Ovation Eye Institute was excellent! The office is in a great location with parking. It is also not too far of a walk from the metro. The entire staff was professional, courteous and helpful. Dr. Burris was polite and informative. I went in for an eye exam and ended up buying two pair of eyeglasses. And I love them!
