I’ve been having migraines and bad headaches daily for the past several months, and I was told to try and see my eye doctor and see if it was vision related. They set an appointment for me a month and a half away and I waited, and the day of my appointment was a day the roads were bad because Tulsa had severe winter weather. Freezing rain, freezing roads, black ice on highways. So I was running late to my appointment and I called ahead to say I’d be about 15 minutes late. They said they would cancel my appointment and that they couldn’t reschedule me anytime soon, even though the weather was bad. I told them I was on my way and that I really needed to get in because I’ve had migraines daily and I’ve already waited a long time, but they refused to schedule me that day or any other day that week. They said to not even come in. I shouldn’t have even called ahead to be polite and let them know. I told them I’d find another doctor because my migraines can’t wait that long

I broke my glasses and I am having to order new ones on line. I called to get my prescription, and they can either fax or mail it to me. They will not email it to me, and I can not pick it up because of the pandemic, but the mailman can. Every other doctors office in the area is open. Apparently someone being able to isn’t essential to them.

I made an appointment about a month in advance because that was the soonest they could get me in, not a problem. The problem came with insurance. I gave my inaurance info when I made the appointment, which means they had a month to get it sorted out. A woman from the office called me a week before and said she was having trouble finding my insurance, I gave her the info again and she told me she'd try something else and call back if she ran into any more problems. She never called back and I thought that meant everything was good. When I get to the Owasso Eye Institute the girl at the counter takes my insurance card and gives me my paperwork to fill out. Before I could even finish my name, she rushes me back to the exam room saying I can finish the paperwork while waiting for the Dr. Then after my exam is done, I get told \we don't take your insurance and we haven't for 2 1/2 years.\ And nobody could've told me this before my exam why? Now I'm out 75 more than what I thought I would be. It all seems pretty shady to me.

Would have given a zero stars if that was an option! Did a regular eye exam with a dialation and charged me the copay as a specialist, has been nearly a month and they still have yet to file with my insurance company. Something is not right!! I can not dispute this since they haven’t filed it!
