Upcoming Canada 150 concert showcases Canadian composers. Sometimes modern works can be less appealing, but I am finding our selections for this concert quite tuneful. Also pleased that the composers grace the viola sections with the melody here and there.

I always enjoy the GBS concerts--and not just because my Dad is in the orchestra! The consistently large turn-out is an indication of the great entertainment the orchestra provides for its audience.
Great musicians and concert hall. I can hardly wait for their next performance.
