Owen Sound, Canada

It's great!! It's a drive-in. How many of them are out there. It's a little rough and dress for bugs. Bring your own snacks and drinks or buy them from the concession which is way more reasonable than regular cinema concessions as they have to be. And have a great time watching 2 (two!!) movies - 4 on long weekends.

The screens are large and high quality. Concession is expensive, and the mounds need to be fixed so cars can get a better angle for viewing.
A decent night out. Prices are fair and movies are current. Watch out for the state of the field where you park. There are such large ditches I'm glad we arrived in a truck! Movie was started too early (wasn't dark yet) so it was very hard to see the screen. Would love to see this local business invest in making improvements.
Horrible experience, with 3 very disappointed kids!! You better make sure you bring cash or be willing to give up your cell phone. The lady at the box office was incredibly rude and said we had to play by her rules I offered my drivers license just to go in and use the amt machine and was told to see my way out. I asked to speak to management and was refused. No comment on the actual drive in experience because we couldn't even make it that far.
People outside the larger urban centres are so, so lucky. Drive-ins are still a reality for them and the Owen Sound Twin Drive-In doesn't disappoint! We were visiting my father in law and decided to take the kids to their first drive-in. For me it was like stepping out of a time machine and re-living my childhood from the 1970's. I truly hope drive-ins like this one survive the fickle whims of future generations and stay with us for a long, long time.
Prices for admission are very fair, movies are all current. Nice to get out and enjoy a local buisness. Place is so run down though it's sad. Make sure you have immunization up today before playing on the play ground.
If only I could put 0 star I would. After I saw how they treated people I will never go there or even recommend this place. I drove with my wife and kid to go see this and I am happy I left him at home cause I would not want him to know how some people can act. So anyways Thanks for wasting my time and have a good day. You are more then welcome to call me If you want advice on how to run a business. Customer service is the way to go. Dont get mad get glad next time.
If you find yourself in the Owen Sound/Meaford area you absolutely have to take in the Drive-In!!! There are so few of them left -- I actually consider it a tourist attraction in its own right. Forget what movies are playing (and yes, at a drive-in you get two movies for your ticket), does it matter? What matters is that you are experiencing a movie. Outside. Remember, this is outside, so movies start late - at sundown so put pajamas on the kids, and depending on the weather conditions you will likely need bug spray. The slide in the playground is scarier than any movie, but it's exciting and no child has died yet, and the food kiosk is a shack that even I can touch the ceiling tiles in, but it's clean and the popcorn is a reasonable price. So, yes, I highly recommend that you check out the Drive-In, open from May to Labour Day. And use GoogleMaps and take the back roads instead of the 6 to leave Owen Sound (the drive-in is actually in Georgian Bluffs). It is a faster and much nicer drive.
