I don't like their give back model.. They get donations for nothing! Jack up the prices far too much! and give very little back to Charity! Pennies on the dollar compared to other Charity based Organizations, such as Salvation Army etc. I do my best not to use Value Village as a rule and will support other lessor known Thrift Shops! Shame on you VV you need to return the good deed and give back in a larger way! And, stop gouging!!!

Got a very nice sweater and collectible teddy bear. I've purchased other clothing from them before too. Got a winter coat a few years ago that was a real bargain too. The coat was valued at 229.00 and I got it for 15.00. Very pleased with that.

Great place to shop. However some prices are unjust. Don't expect to donate anything if you aren't worried someone telling you they can't take it. They are very picky. A woman on her break told us we could not drop off a small light little love seat couch folding bed very clean. Even though I had called just half an hour earlier described it fully and they said they could take it and they wouldn't take it when I got there. They seem to think they have seniority to pick and choose what they want in their store meanwhile they should be grateful they are even getting donations after COVID to keep them going. We are very clean neat people wouldn't donate anything if it weren't in good condition for someone to use. I work at a second hand store and have for years I have experience what is good quality to donate. Someone in need could have used this. I won't be donating anymore over there and will be telling others not to either. Other places like Salvation Army or The Restore or Habitat could use it more than the bigger franchises like them.

In my opinion the prices could be better considering everything is donated. Other then that I do really like that it's big with high ceilings.
