A lovely wetlands location to go for a walk and feel a bit more detached from all the crazy out there. We were lucky enough to see a starling murmuration which we were not expecting. Lots of lovely birds enjoying the well maintained wetlands sanctuary with some nice bird hides, and some lovely hand painted bird boards to help you identify some feathery friends. Make sure you wear your boots, its muddy this time of year.

A place of beauty
Such a beautiful spot, whether you're just there for the scenery (as I was) or a serious twitcher (my friends). Signage was informative, hides well-placed overlooking the beautiful lake, paths clear. Note - 2 parking charge introduced as of July 2019 - waived for RSPB members and blue badge holders.
