Doctors and nurses are amazing, never had a negative experience with any of them! Reception staff on the other hand do they ever pick up the phone?? I’ve been sat in the surgery myself when they have sat there not answering it and also been the one on the other end waiting for ages, I’ve got evidence in my call log to show I have to ring at LEAST 50 times for 3 minutes at a time before I get an answer , whatever is causing this issue it needs to be fixed!! Their attitude could improve too

Don't have a bad word to say. Yes, may have to wait for appointments, but where don't you.? Yes, may have to wait in a queue to be answered on the phone, but where don't you? I have been in the reception area, and can honestly say I was appalled at the behaviour of a patient, but couldn't praise the receptionist enough. She was polite and calm despite being sworn at, then a GP came out and ejected said patient. I would never ever work in a go reception, I just don't have the patience. All those who slag receptionists off, shame on you. If you can't say anything nice, don't say anything at all. Above all, be respectful. You never know who that receptionist has just spoken to. It may have been someone in crisis.
