I've been going to Yoga Quota for over two years, and it is the first yoga studio where I felt truly welcome and at ease. The atmosphere is warm and inviting and not intimidating at all. I later did my 200h yoga teacher training with them in 2018 and it was the most special experience, connecting with the trainers and other trainees and becoming part of a really supportive community. I now live in Spain, but every time I come to Oxford, even if it is just for a couple of days, the first thing I do is book myself into a class there! I highly, highly recommend it!

I researched a lot of yoga teacher training courses...before stumbling across the gem that is Yoga Quota...Everything about their approach is different and from the word go I was struck by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. I attended 2 classes at the Sweaty Betty site before signing up and everything I had felt was confirmed....Yoga Quota has a heart and this for me means everything. The new Turl Street site is a haven of bliss and I feel so lucky to be doing my training there. I have loved the classes I have attended - the teachers are highly knowledgeable and authentic. Thank you....
I’m currently working through my 200hr Yoga Teacher Training with Yoga Quota and cannot recommend them enough! I’ve also been to a couple of the workshops and they’ve been fantastic! The teachers are friendly and supportive and there is always a great atmosphere.
When I first went to yoga quota I had recently moved to Oxford. I googled different studios and by pure chance I found them. I went in there with zero expectations, and left with my heart full. The atmosphere was lovely. The studio is a cosy place, and the teachers make you feel warm and welcomed. Even though I hadn’t practiced for a while - I felt like it didn’t matter. What was important was that I enjoyed my practise. And I loved it! On top of all this I found out that they are an incredible charity. I recommend yoga quota to everyone I know, and I now do my yoga teacher training with them. Couldn’t be happier.
Yoga quota is creating an amazing community in Oxford - for teachers and students alike. The YQ team are friendly, helpful and passionate about yoga. I highly recommend trying a class or joining a training workshop.
I joined Yoga Quota 6 months ago and have loved every class, so glad to have found this studio! It is in the center of town and have a good range and times of classes available including workshops. The teachers create a great atmosphere in the studio, relaxed and welcoming, it's like stepping into a little slice of yogi heaven every time. The teachers guide you through movements offering support and different options if you need them. I come away with a post-yoga zen glow! Inspiring place!
For me, Yoga Quota is a little yoga-heaven in Oxford. The teachers are SO experienced and competent, there are tons of different classes offered with different styles and approaches, the place is small, but the community so incredibly welcoming and chilled. The most inspiring thing is the mission of this studio, a non-profit organization that brings yoga also to those who cannot afford it or have difficulties accessing it. My experience is that this place and the people who work there embody the very essence of what yoga is about.
I've been going to classes at Yoga Quota for a few months now, and they are absolutely brilliant! It's a lovely, intimate studio space which makes class sizes necessarily small, but they run a variety of classes spread throughout the day to ensure maximum convenience. The prices are very reasonable, with great rates on membership. All the teachers are friendly and welcoming and they cater for all levels of experience. As others have said, the fact that they are a charity is a real plus - a little dose of philanthropy with your downward dog!
