We stayed 4 nights at the Grand Canava starting on September 19th 2017. The Villa is Fabulous. We had 6 couples and each couple got their own room. There was only one suite where two couples had to share a bathroom. The location is the best in Oia, it's right at the end of the walking street. There's a great little bakery just steps away that has wonderful croissants and coffee at very reasonable prices. The views of the Caldera are incredible. The pool temperature was perfect. The staff, Roxanne, Astia, and George were very helpful and responded to our every need, including, carrying our bags, booking dinner reservations, arranging transportation for our sunset cruise which was amazing, and preparing appetizers, the Bruschetta with fresh local tomatoes and basil was to die for. This was a once in a lifetime vacation, and an experience at the Beautiful Grand Canava that we'll never forget. A truly incredible villa in the heart of Oia! Location is perfect - there is a marker right above the place, large pool, clean, and bedrooms/bathrooms in caves. Beds are comfortable and house manager is very easy to work with. No complaints!
You can not beat this location, we stayed here for 3 nights with 11 people and it was perfect. It is essentially 3 separate houses that lead out to an amazong patio and pool. You will not be dissapointed if you stay here. Roxanne was a great host. The catamaran trip is a must!
