This well-kept secret on Paarl’s Main Road is barely decorated inside and the rather bland exterior makes it easy to miss...but don’t let the appearance fool you! Fu Long is the best place for Chinese take away and sushi you will ever come across. The traditional dishes are largely portioned (and often come in two sizes), well priced and expertly prepared. The sushi menu, however, is the true star of the show. Beautifully crafted, the wide variety and low prices makes it the sushi lover’s paradise! Excellently balanced platters offer great value for money, but even a selection of individual items will cost you far less than you think - it’s fairly easy to get 40 pieces or so for around R300! The Chef’s Specials include surprises like Prawn Roses, along with the more standard Futo Maki and Rock Rolls. A true wonder! Take away and cash only.

If you have to go on appearances you might not want to visit, the shop is squeezed between other shops and do not have the best kerb appeal, but you not here to look at the shop, you here to taste e, and I have to say this was some of the best Sweet and sour chicken I had in a very long time, food is freshly prepared, no pre cooked, Frozen stuff, you wait a bit longer, but it is worthwhile
