My 3 year old loves the place, specially the dark room for globe and gem gallery. I am very impressed with the staff, Daniel is very professional, passionate about the topic and good with kids. Awesome guy. So don’t be shy to ask him any questions you have about the museum.

An absolute... Gem... Up at UBC This free (donations accepted) self guided space is as beautiful as it is educational. I have brought adults and children in and everyone has had a wonderful time. If you have a small group, call ahead to book a visit, the staff are wonderful and obviously care very much about their work!

Not the easiest to find, but worth it. There are excellent exhibits and plenty of information. There are other museums nearby and, when coupled with the Pacific Museum of Earth, make for a great outing.

I stayed in the museum for half an hour and learned about tsunami's, saw some beautiful treasures of the earth and got to be the weather lady for a moment. Really sparked a new interest! Cool and free museum.
