All that is left here is a very cool giant rusted anchor and the remnants of railroad tracks and a plaque right next to the lifeguard station. The Longwharf in Santa Monica here was (when it opened in 1890 ) the longest wharf in the world and it was about 4700 feet long. Google it and you can see a picture of it. Kind of cool to think about how long it was.
