The Well Group is creating an innovative programme with deliverable partners providing an integrated sustainable infrastructure and training and employment platform. This will provide access to a wide range of industry sectors, identified primarily where there are known and current skills shortages and where there are likely to be in the future. The platform is designed to provide opportunities for individuals from but not limited to various groups and backgrounds. Industry sectors such as free range chickens and eggs, coffee (baristas), food and drink, distilleries, construction and manufacturing (residential & commercial buildings), care homes and social care, care farms, renewable energy, catering, Haulage (HGV), manufacturing and engineering, etc., We are seeking to widen the pool of potential training and employment opportunities in further sectors whereby each individual who benefits from The Well Group platform achieves something tangible at the end - Ie a qualification or accreditation which is recognised and where possible we line up full time or part time employment with our partners, many of whom are keen to assist in establishing and running the training programmes. We then also look to offer housing - either rented, share equity or purchase via our housing and construction partners. Ultimately we are trying to create an opportunity for as a many people as possible to get into full or part time employment and be able create a suitable platform for themselves and their families to be more secure and comfortable going forward. We are trying to ensure it is not just about providing a home but also providing access where possible to a wide range of industry sectors where training, both in the class room and on the job are available with real job prospects thereafter.
